Microsoft Guides

With Microsoft Guides, for example, the user completes a predefined training course. After starting the Guide application, the user points the camera at the marker. The marker will be recognized and a predefined training program will be completed. Various guidance tools are available to authors for creating new training courses. For example, texts and videos can be projected into the room, and additionally, arrows and schematic diagrams mark exactly the areas where the user needs to take action. The instructions are created beforehand by trained employees (authors).

Remote Assist

With Remote Assist, a live image is transmitted by a Teams call through the HoloLens to an expert. This expert can support the on-site user via various tools to solve a problem. The expert can draw something in the live image with a pen, place arrows or place images or certain files in the room. The system is also available for Android and IOS end devices. However, only images can currently be transferred.
